One of them, cold Albert invented a electro engine to use in a Citroen 2CV, this to have a light build car and old car to change the engine and to be simple and for the future not to get this kind of cars in the schrotter. See enclosed pics of electr engine in the car and batteries. The batteries are in the back and the car can drive fast about 140 km speed and a range of about 200 km.
And the speed is even limited, silent and smooth.
The experimental phase is over and the 2CV is now to get a approval bij our RDW (NDR: la DRIRE Hollandaise), so if they approve it, the car can drive legally on the road in Holland. I have
good contact with Albert and my R4 will be the next car, it is simalary to the 2CV, old model and light carroserie. It is a standard eletro engine and you only need a adapter and to see how you can fasten the engine with blocks.
So may be soon a hybride R4 , clean and silent, just put the cable in your eletric house system and.... cheap.
